This law firm will milk you until you get upset and call them out on DUI or family law trials. They'll make sure to string you along "trial dates" until you've had enough. They always send a bill / email that says - (Please see attached invoice. It's a pleasure serving you.) They never tell you why or for what you're charged for before they hit your bank for the sum. I am not happy with any part of the service I received. The communication is and professionalism was non existent. I had to fire the firm in the middle of a divorce..bad news

I don't know how they handle legal issues because they never returned any of my phone calls when I tried to hire them. Not returning phone calls is very rude and unprofessional.

Mr. James is an unreliable expensive pathetic lawyer. My experiences !!! During March-July 2019. - In the courtroom, he brushes his eyes looking for me. just once (3-5 second look). He didn't see me then disappeared letting me deal with the embarrassment with the judge. - He just attends the courtroom just as a figure doesn't defend or negotiate anything. Kudos to you RG ! You are spot on about these jokers. Recently went through a divorce and my ex hired the Colgan Firm to represent her. There was absolutely no need for either of us to retain lawyers but she went ahead..... they filed this and that and this and that all with the intent, in my opinion, to make money. I even asked for 1 of our 3 dogs and was told "my client does not think that should happen". Where we lived it is technically illegal to have more than 2 dogs without a kennel license. If the Mickey Mouse Club handed out Law Degrees these folks would be valedictorians. Unbelievably how much time they spend on the trivial and how many people they have in their office that do stuff simply to bill the client for time. Final outcome, was better off that they were involved. They are very unprofessional and do not return calls, especially to other attorneys- there is a code, common professional courtesy if you will, and they simply do not follow. I hired this firm to handle my divorce and child custody issues following the divorce. The attorneys and firm employees were attentive and kind in their manner of handling such a difficult situation. I was glad to have such caring individuals voicing my concerns to the Court and advising me of my rights as a parent. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
