Colette has been sitting on my Pasadena bookmarks for way too long, so I’m glad I finally made it in. The place has a relaxed vibe with both indoor seating and a really nice outdoor patio that is shaded. The portions here are sharable. My kiddos loved the Crispy Stuffed Chicken with Shrimp Paste. My personal favorites were the Pork Juicy Dumplings, the Beef Chow Fun, and yes, that same crispy stuffed chicken just like my kiddos. Visited for the second time and it was just as good as I remembered. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes had a nice balance of traditional Cantonese flavors with some creative twists. I especially enjoyed the Salted Egg Yolk Prawns and the Lamb Chops. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly. They also offer dim sum and lunch specials, which makes it a great spot for both family meals and group gatherings. Definitely worth coming back!
