Dr. signed off on a release on a young autistic teenager who tried to commit suicide, and who has been severely self harming. The attempt was violent and the situation has been escalating. Patient has been self harming at school. Dr. was informed of this and talked with patient for about 5 minutes. No doctor qualified in mental health or autism assessed the child. Regardless, even Dr. Khan was qualified to assess an autistic child, 5 minutes wouldn't be close to enough time. Makes me wonder if the doctor even read the histor... read more
