Get directionsStaff fantastic during the week, weekend staff awful, denigrating yo elderly patients, no empathy for patients adjusting to being inprisoned. Patients can't go outside for sunshine even with family taking responsibility. This place overlooks the ocean, such a healing place. BuT No patients must spend their days locked up. Prison is more empathetic than this place. Please don't send family here unless they are severe dementia, where they don't know where they are regardless.
This place needs closing down. Nurses blatantly lie about daily care that they should do but don't do it. The other day my catheter was leaking. I was left with a soaking wet bed for 5 hours before they did anything. A care management that needs doing every year not done for 3 days and she records that she did it. Its not a rehab, it's not a hospital. Even the food is shocking. A prison would be better.

It is not a hospital, it is just a "parking place" where the "unwanted" are kicked out of hospitals to wait for a placement in an aged care home. Disgusted how society continues to let down our elderly!

The food is slop that wouldn't pass in a prison. Which is the general feel of this Hospital, with the windows closed and the doors locked. Back to the food i nearly threw up as they served it to my Dad, we got takeaway instead. If you are under the impression that this is a rehab centre. It is not. The rehab centre is closed and not i... read more
I suffered a suspected hypothermia and exhaustion years ago, I was travelling to North Sydney from Eden on a 125cc motorbike to look for a job. On the return next day it was 42 degree's I was dehydrated and a huge southerly storm blew in creating 50knot winds and piercing rain. It dropped from 40 plus degrees to high teens in the space of a few hours. I was dizzy and could hardly control my motorbike in the wind. I crossed the sea cliff bridge at around 10kph swerving all over both lanes of traffic. I made it to the other si... read more
