We stayed in Condo 711. We’ve been staying at Golden Sands for 22 years. Whoever owns condo 711 is my long lost sister. For 22 years, I’ve toted towels, hand towels, dish stuff, bed sheets, blankets, TP snd paper towels along with food. This condo provided 3 bags/baggies upon arrival.. one with kitchen and trash stuff, one with towels for each guest and one with bathroom toiletries. The bed had clean linens and proper pillows. Vacasa no longer has an office at the Golden Sands. The office in the building is operated by Seaside Vacations. Vacasa has an office about 40 blocks from the Golden Sands
BEWARE!!!! The unit I rented didn’t have a closet. When I called, I was told “was there a picture of the closet in the ad” I don’t remember seeing a toilet but I certainly expected one I replied. The TV didn’t work and after two phone calls was told (on my second day of a three day stay) that there was “a ticket submitted” This unit (709) should be overhauled: broken toilet paper holder, stove drawer off kilter, and the plastic chairs (from the dollar store) on the patio: one broken, another filthy. Don’t stay at 2112 Golden Sands Ocean City. Condo is filthy and well used with broken blinds, taped up light switches, stained dishes and a lack of basic kitchen cookware and appliances. I never post reviews but this place is disgusting. Also no parking unless you have a mini cooper. Wish I would have paid more attention to reviews.
