I had an amazing experience, I walked in last night and ordered a waffle bowl with chocolate ice cream I was with my boyfriend who ordered the peanut butter taco and he casually let the two young boys working that I was allergic to peanut butter, now my allergy isn’t gonna kill me but the two young men paused and told me they had to remake everything I assured them that it was okay and it was fine, they reassured me and went to the back to make my order, bleaching everything and using the correct food safety procedures, I’m ... read more
I have literally never had this bad of an experience at a cold stone creamery. Me, my mom, and my sister all have a gluten allergy. We have never had issues before at a cold stone creamery, they usually know how to handle that. When we ask them to clean off the place where they make the ice cream because that is usually what they do when we order gluten-free, the manager or a girl that was working, was incredibly rude to us. Workers were sweet and helpful! Ice cream was so yummy 😋
Read reviews, they will close (lock the door with 'Open' sign and customers inside) well before 9pm even if they have enough people to serve. Just look and laugh at you. Highly recommend a different spot, only Cold Stone that consistently disappoints :/ Ben & Jerry's for the win or other Cold Stone locations would be my suggestion if skipping Kirks.
