Was surprised by the prices: single scoop ice cream in a cake cone: $7.20 with tax. I didn't realize they charged you extra for a basic cone. By comparison, Dairy Queen is $1.99, Chaps Ice Cream $5.50, Kohrs Brothers $4.50, Moo-thru $3.95
The vanilla was halfway melted when it passed over the cashier register and the chocolate had a weird taste
Expensive but good
This is the 2nd time I have placed an order for a ready made cake online, only to drive 40 mins to Charlottesville, and be told my order was never pulled and the cake I ordered was no longer available. If my order was pulled when i placed it hours prior, the store staff should have reached out to me to let me know of the issue, so I could change the order or make other arrangements. We stopped during the heatwave to cool down with some ice cream. The staff did okay making our creations, but the store was warmer than what we have experienced at other Cold Stone Creamery locations. Our ice cream was already melting and making a mess when we got it. I would say that keeping the store and seating area cooler would help. #OwlsTweet #BirdLife #worldtraveler
