We ordered birthday cakes 3 years in a row: 2024, 2025, 2026. In 2024 all went well, last year they couldn’t open the freezer and we had to wait for more than an hour for someone to show up to the store and unlock it; cherry on top was this year -we ordered the cake, but it wasn’t ready on time. We had to wait for 30 minutes for the manager to show up and finish the decor??!! I am not sure what kind of work ethic this business abides by.
HORRIBLE!!!!!! Unethical business!!! Don't waste your time or money, go literally anywhere else. I ordered a custom cake & never received it. Every time I called the store they never answered, then finally reached someone and they said there was nothing they could do.
I normally do not leave reviews like this, but after multiple experiences at this specific Cold Stone location in Ann Arbor, I feel compelled to speak honestly about the treatment I have consistently received. As an African-American woman, I have repeatedly felt unwelcome and uncomfortable when entering this establishment.
