We stopped by last Friday evening for a quick family outing and the whole place was easy to navigate with two kids in tow. Parking right by the entrance made unloading the stroller and gear painless, which is always a win when you're juggling little ones. The staff at the front desk were genuinely friendly and even pointed us toward the best seats for watching the action without being right in the noise. It had a nice buzzing, small town arena atmosphere that made the whole evening feel like a proper family night out.
Great facility, lots of parking. I was here for the tattoo convention 2026 and the bathrooms were always clean and restocked. The whole place was really well looked after. Highly reccomend!
Took the crew to a drop-in skate on Sunday morning and the ice at Cold Lake Energy Centre was glass smooth, barely anyone there before 11. Parking right out front was easy too, no circling around looking for a spot like some other rinks. Staff at the front desk were friendly and pointed us toward the canteen for coffee before we even asked. Honestly a solid way to kill a lazy Sunday with friends, we will be back for sure.

Took the kids to a game at the Energy Centre last Friday evening and it was a great quick outing, easy in and out. Parking right by the entrance made it painless with a stroller and a toddler in tow. The staff at the concession were friendly and fast, so we didn't miss much of the action waiting in line. Nice atmosphere for a small town rink, clean seats, good sightlines, and we were home in time for bedtime.
