Found parasites in their hot-smoked salmon. It was obviously cooked and frozen, so they were dead, but it was still pretty disgusting to find. When I contacted the owner, they refused to refund me, saying, "An unfortunate aspect of pulling fish out of the ocean is that there is almost always some level of parasite load. We make salmon all the time, typically 6oz fillets from a larger vendor. We saw this at the farmers market and decided to splurge to see how much better the dish might come out. We were really looking forward to it. After making it, we eagerly dug in. On first bite, I was startled by what felt like some kind of hairy wire— a fish bone.
