I went in to see about getting my six month old kitten neutered and was told they wouldn’t preform the operation unless he was given 3 different vaccinations. For the ‘safety’ of the staff they claim. If you don’t want your pet pumped full of pharmaceuticals, then this is not the place for you.
The staff were lovely, The vet gave me lots of advice for my new puppy. A couple of things were missed, but caught prior to leaving. Place was immaculately clean. Prices as per run of the mill for Truro.
The clinic itself looks great and the staff were kind and polite. However, I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I was charged $150 (twice) for an “exam” that lasted less than a minute. The doctor only briefly listened to my cat’s breathing — no check of his fur, teeth, claws, or any proper physical examination. I genuinely don’t understand how that can justify $150. After moving to the area we tried another vet ...without criticizing that clinic we decided to go to Colchester vet after hearing wonderful things...we are sooooo glad we did! Dr Johnson is very willing to share her knowledge by taking the time to answer questions and address any concerns...it was obvious from our first visit this vet truly has the well being of her patients as the main priority..our boy is pretty happy to go there and I feel a sincere trust in Dr Johnson and her staff.
