The clinic itself looks great and the staff were kind and polite. However, I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I was charged $150 (twice) for an “exam” that lasted less than a minute. The doctor only briefly listened to my cat’s breathing — no check of his fur, teeth, claws, or any proper physical examination. I genuinely don’t understand how that can justify $150. After moving to the area we tried another vet ...without criticizing that clinic we decided to go to Colchester vet after hearing wonderful things...we are sooooo glad we did! Dr Johnson is very willing to share her knowledge by taking the time to answer questions and address any concerns...it was obvious from our first visit this vet truly has the well being of her patients as the main priority..our boy is pretty happy to go there and I feel a sincere trust in Dr Johnson and her staff.

I rescued my Frenchie on Sunday and called Colchester Vet on Monday—they were incredibly accommodating and got us in right away. Since I didn’t know much about my new pup, they took the time to guide me through everything and made the whole process easy and reassuring. Gus received the best veterinary appointment I’ve ever experienced. I’ll be using Colchester Vet exclusively from now on.
Dr Johnson and staff are amazing! Very knowledgeable and Dr Johnson is an amazing veterinarian! She truly cares and does her best ! My boys love Dr Johnson !
