Just sitting in A.E.C.U at Colchester Hospital. I just want to thank everyone that helped my 19yr old son today, that I brought in with severe dehydration and infection after 4 days of food poisoning. From the nurses at Triage, through to all A.E.C.U staff, you are all fantastic, even the lady that found him a wheelchair and brought him to this department. You are all so kind, welcoming, calming and professional, keep up the good work. I wish ALL staff at ALL hospitals were like you.

My daughter has been suffering from severe tonsillitis, recurring almost every month, and it has been an incredibly exhausting experience for our family. We were recently at A&E on Monday, and we were very fortunate to be seen by Dr. Camilla S. (apologies, I'm unsure of her full surname). Dr. Camilla was truly outstanding—exceptionally helpful, compassionate, and supportive throughout the visit. A bit of a wait, but not too bad. They do their best, too many people turning up when they could have gone to a GP.

In a bed within 2 hours of attending at 1.30pm. Staff polite and excellent knowledge of my very complex needs.
