This plumbing company is NO good. There are so many good plumbers to choose in the yellow pages. I do NOT recommend Colby Plumbing of Highlands New Jersey. Very sloppy and will leave a mess in your home.
The first time I called Colby was to replace my hot water heater and kitchen faucet. Larry gave me a fair price on the phone. Mike showed up to do the actual plumbing two hours late on a Saturday and after the work was complete, asked for an additional $50 because it was "harder than he thought" to replace my kitchen faucet. That was in January. Yesterday (March) I called because my commode seemed to be loose and my tiles were wet on the floor so I thought there was a leak somewhere. My wife called me at work to tell me pipes burst and were spraying everywhere and soaking our cabinets. I work an hour away and certainly didn't have a yellowpages phone book at work. Being the first place I'd think normally to look for a plumber would be the yellowpages, I figured I'd just log onto yellowpages.com.
