Absolutely lives up to the hype.
Disappointed we didn’t get to eat here last night. Our party of four waited for 20 minutes before deciding to go elsewhere. It was frustrating because one person was holding a table of four for over 25 minutes with a reservation and another group was just sitting and drinking water. In my experience, typically reservations are only held for 15 minutes or they don’t seat parties until everyone is there.
The food was really good. We got there around 5 and wanted 20 mins. The pasta was really good. Kids loved it because of its chewiness. The menu was small which made it really convenient to pick what you wanted. No confusion or indecisiveness m
This place was recommended from a local and we’re so glad we tried this unpretentious neighborhood gem. Our homemade pasta dishes were perfectly seasoned and plated. The lasagna-delicious….the fontina filled pasta with truffle butter…outstanding. The salted caramel budino..rich and creamy. Our meal was worth every minute of the 30 minute wait on a rainy night. I’ll be thinking of this meal for quite some time.
Food was fantastic, the pasta had a great bite to it and the flavors of each dish were layered and thoughtful. We had the Malloreddus alla Campidanese, the Squid Ink Bavette, Bucatini Aglio e Acciughe, and salted black licorice buddino for dessert. It's a great place to taste food thoughtfully, and each of the ingredients shine through in every bite without one overpowering another. Best Italian food I've had.
