The pasta was delicious, but we had to wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged, and when they did take our order, it was for everything and they “ran out of bread we run out all the time” at 7pm on a saturday. Restaurant 101: greet guests quickly, offer them some wine / drinks, even if you’re delayed on taking their order. Also offer more salad options or appetizers and we would’ve easily ordered dessert if it was offered.
We visited Colapasta for dinner and found the environment and vibe to be excellent for a nice night out. The service was a particular highlight; the staff were polite, attentive, and ensured we had a great experience. We ordered the lasagna ragu and the linguine with fresh crab, both of which were good, though the linguine could have used more crab meat or additional elements to make the dish feel a bit richer. Wanted to love this place a lot more. Unfortunately, the sauce was bland, and service was slow and not worth the wait. I'd go to several other pasta spots over this one.
