What's happening with the ER at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital? My sister has been laying there since Wednesday afternoon. She's a bone narrow transplant patient. She's very sick. Fast, friendly, very helpful top doctors, nurses.
The check in process wasn’t bad, and I saw a physician in about 45 minutes. However, I was asked personal health information in an open area, which made me feel uncomfortable. I didn’t want a stranger across from me knowing my private health information, but I also needed assistance, so I reluctantly shared. No one should have to share their private health information in the open that way. It was not confidential at all! Shame on New York Presbyterian.
