The coin counting service is a worthwhile service . However the 11.9% fee is exorbitant. They offer gift cards with no fee, but the selection is very limited. Also funds can be sent to a charity with no fee but, again, the choice is extremely limited
Cornstar is a great way to turn alot of loose change into more easily spent paper money. I 've used it to change many pounds of small coins into more easily carried and spent dolled bills. It is automated, self explanatory and easy to use. After you deposit the change, it counts it and gives you a receipt. You can spend it at the store or exchange it for cash.
