10/14/12, 2:45pmI called in and asked what they were buying silver rounds at. he replied "spot" that was $33.48. So i drive there with all intention of selling my 61 rounds to them. when i arrive he then says he will buy them for "$33.00"... Not only was i going to sell my 61 rounds, I was going to buy a $100 face value junk silver bag for $2400.00!!! Im a man of principle and if you said "spot" you should buy at spot. i didnt sell them and i didnt buy what i came for
I stopped into Coins and Collectables to buy some Morgan Silver dollars. I asked if any of the Morgans they had were in VF, AU or BU condition. He said to me, "Buy a book and educate yourself". He put the coins back in the display case, turned his back on me, and refused to talk to me. I was shocked. I wanted to buy some coins from him and he wouldn't even talk to me. I asked to purchase certain coins in BU condition. I was told over the phone that coins like that are only sold to certain people on a call list. I asked how to get on the call list and he laughed at me. What a way to run a store.
