Inquisitive, thorough and helpful. I've been to a number of GPs in NY, Dr. Cohen is definitely the best experience I've had.

Doctor Cohen is caring and responsive. The office is strict about lateness especially when it is a physical so I can see why the other reviewer had a problem. As for Dr. Cohen herself, she is thorough , responds to emails within 24 hours and is genuinely concerned about your health and well being. She called me on my cell phone on a weekend day when she heard I had an unusual test result to see if I had confirmed whether the result was correct. She also treats my 96 year old grandmother. I've seen Dr. Cohen before and had a fine experience, but I booked a physical with her and showed up five minutes late, where I learned she has a very strict policy - that no one bothered to tell me about - that you can't be more than five minutes late for a physical and she refused to see me or even to speak to me about it. So after fasting for six hours for no reason I had to leave, and I will absolutely be finding another doctor who will treat her patients as if they are humans. Absolutely Terrible doctor. My husband has been going to her for 6 years and I have been for 3 years. We rarely go once in a year, so didn't notice it earlier. I initially thought only her office staff was rude (esp. at the 77th St office), and absolute non empathic, but she is many steps ahead exhibiting this behavior. My last 2 visits to her 52nd st office and 77th st office made me quit her once and for all.
