I brought my mother to Cohen Gynecology for a scheduled appointment specifically to get a pessary (ring) placed for her condition. She is an elderly patient on Medicare, and we made this appointment in advance for that exact purpose. We took time off work, paid for transportation, and arrived early only to be told by the doctor that they don’t even have the pessary available and suggested we “go somewhere else.” This is completely unacceptable.
