WOMEN & ADOPTEES: Only go to a FEMALE therapist! I experienced a shocking lack of empathy, professionalism & accountability for himself. It sickens me that I told him anything private about myself. He claimed I had difficulty with boundaries, yet HE BEGAN to casually text me after our 1st session. Instead of being responsible for his own limitations, he placed 100% of the blame on me for his lack of success. In our 2ND session, he said, “If this happens again, it won’t be good.”.
