The staff at Cogir Folsom are truly tremendous making the experience beyond exceptional for my aunt! They cared for her as if they were their own family member. From working with Amber during the intake process to ongoing executive level oversight with Liz to Lindsay, who always had a smile at the front desk to Nikki, who always shared her optimism by trying to get my aunt engaged in activities to Ate (aunt/older sis in Filipino culture) who maintained the cleanliness to Junior who delivered such personal care. They Rip you off and dont care about what happens to your lobed one afterward. Any issues that come up they constantly send your relative to emergency room. To prevent trauma in your future. Avoid this place. Its not whay they portray.

This place Lures you in with free rent and robs you on the other side. They only help you if there is no work involved. They make it where you cant afford to keep paying, then they steal your months care amount and rent and you have no way to move your loved one. DONT GO HERE!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!

My dad had a good life at Cogir of Folsom. When he arrived, he thought he was staying at a hotel. He would ask me to look for his car in the parking lot. He settled in quickly—about 2-3 weeks—and stopped questioning where he was. Cogir was his new “hotel.” He often said, “They’re really nice to me here.” One time, I couldn't find my dad, then I spotted him with Nikki, the activity director, along with a group of residents singing along to Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond’s "Sweet Caroline." Cogir of Folsom is a special place and my family holds it in very high regard. My mother lived there for just over a year. The staff all knew her (and us) by name and were so compassionate and caring. I always knew my mother was in great hands and felt comfortable with her living there even with the difficult circumstances associated with Alzheimer's.
