We recently transitioned my mom to COGIR‘s assisted living and my dad to their memory care unit. A transition this major is obviously very challenging for anyone, especially someone like my dad who is suffering from dementia. The patience of the staff at COGIR and their loving approach has been nothing but positive. The food is also great, and my mom loves the fact that she can wander down to the restaurant anytime between 7 AM and 7 PM to sit down and order a meal. I am thrilled that we found Cogir of Broomfield for my father. Transitioning an older loved one to a different home is rarely easy, but the staff at Cogir has been kind and responsive and always willing to help with whatever we need. The apartments are new and well-designed with every modern convenience. Our mom moved in about two months ago and is loving Cogir. This is the happiest we’ve seen her since before my dad passed away in July 2024. The staff is amazing - everyone is enthusiastic and warm. In particular, Cale has been just wonderful with my mom and everyone else I see him interact with in the dining room. Brooke is terrific too. Everyone is. After my first time touring Cogir , I didn't think that I would move my mother in here. The Executive Director, Kelley was very rude and acted like she could care less if we picked this place or not. However, I was sold on this place because the other staff were extremely nice and seemed to really care despite having to work with a downer.
