My car is drivable so I didn't see the need to have my car sit at the shop waiting on parts. Since it's a 2025, newer vehicle parts are usually difficult to get ahold of but the body shop person was very curt with me and told me I'd have to pay him up front if I wanted him to order the parts without my car sitting in the shop. He also stated "I am sure you have 30 days rental coverage" apparently alluding that he would be keeping my car for a full 30 days BEFORE he even looked at my car.
