Without a doubt, the best coffee in town! If you're looking for an authentic Italian café experience, this is the place to be. The espresso is outstanding and served the proper Italian way, with a glass of sparkling water and a cantuccio on the side – such a simple touch, but it makes all the difference. Not a nice coffee experience at all. They use sachets for their decaf coffee, which I only found out after I returned mine. The decaf tasted terrible, so I took it back. Unfortunately, there was no apology and no offer of a refund. Instead, they made me a weak latte, which was cheaper than the decaf I had originally paid for, and they didn’t refund me the price difference. Even normal coffee was not nice not only for me but for my daughter as well. Overall, very disappointing customer service.
For the best coffee in Melbourne, traditional service and excellent atmosphere
To be honest, the true and only Italian traditional caffetteria we were all expecting in Carlton! Jeffrey and Valentina always provide the best service and mood, just like every other member of the team. The best place to start your day with a nice espresso and a smile. Well done!
Excellent coffee. Not many tables unfortunately so haven’t been able to get in the last four times we’ve tried, probably because it’s too cold atm to sit outside.
