Probably the worst run department in the state of Alabama. Seldom does anyone answer the phone in any department. We might as well not have a local ‘health department’. The state could use that money elsewhere.

I arrived on Wednesday at 3:15 and asked the woman for help with Medicaid. She said I'm closing now but you can fill out a paper application the sign on the door said she's there till 4:30. She definitely was supposed to be there at about 4:30 because she wandered around the office telling everybody about her injured knee or arthritic knee and different medication she's putting on her knee and I listened to that the whole time I filled out the application. She then told me to slip it under her door she's very rude
