He is great! I had talked with other surgeons who did not seem to care. Dr Starnes not only listened to my concerns, he answered and was patient and put me at ease. I had to have a difficult surgery and feel better every day. His staff and him are both professional, kind and helpful. I wish they had time to teach other medical staff how to be as great as they are.
He listened to everything I had to say about my history addiction to smoking etc. He told me the guidelines of what I need to do there was no sugar coating told me the steps and what I need to take and what I need to change before surgery he is a good man and a good physician I would recommend him 100% to anyone that is wanting to do weight loss surgery.
Wish I could give negative stars . Definitely Not wheelchair accessible. Water spigots and hoses on ground obstructed path behind columns. In front of columns, supposed to use the approximate 6 inches width of sidewalk between bushes and car bumpers. The only cutout to get up curbing is at west end of building. Excellent Doctor and Surgeon. I met Dr. Starnes (no relation) because of an issue with my gall bladder. The GB was identified as a problem and Dr. Starnes expertly removed and did a bit of exploration to ensure there were no potential problems. Excellent Surgeon and I will insist on having him perform any surgeries I require in the future.
I required an emergency appendectomy smack dab in the middle of the 2021 Texas Freeze. Had no water at the house because of broken pipes, had lost power. Doc Starnes stepped into the void and I’m well now. Had virtually no after surgery pain which I attribute to his skill as a surgeon. Great job!

He saved my life! When others said they couldn’t he took time and and he listened ! He gave me a whole life back after 90 of my colon had died..
He did my gall bladder surgery. He has a great bedside manner and also is an incredible surgeon.
Dr. Starnes is an awesome doctor. I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery and he took great care of me while I was there. His office staff is great too! I'm actually going to be having rny and he's gonna do that surgery as well!!!
