Fantastic little pub. Awesome meals (pepper squid & pasta salad & chips. Very generous size serving. Very friendly staff and owner. Has pictures all around the pub of the local catches of Murray Cod - so the fishing is good too.
Good old country pub. Cold beer and good food, proper chicken parmigiana chunky and tender not those processed plastic schnitzels. Loved our meals.
Absolute little gem! Nice quiet little town on the Macintyre river. Can park vans out the back of the pub in a spacious green area. Rule of thumb would be to go in for a beer at least as they don’t charge you to stay and you get the use of toilets and showers. We stayed for a feed and it was pretty good. We got put onto this place by another couple who we met near Gilgandra. Spot on
Good size meals very enjoyable friendly staff.
