Im 100% Italian, very selective about my food and for me this place was perfection. We sat at the bar with Michael who gave us the best service there was to have....The Caesar Salad was the best I've ever had ....Could win awards.... Cocktails, dinner, dessert, all amazing! PARENTS: this place does not want you there. We chose Coda del Pesce because it was a well reviewed Italian restaurant in Isle of palms. We walked in with our 2 young well behaved children at opening right at 5:30. I want to note that we are ALWAYS conscientious about our kids and their impact on others’ experience. The Hungry Detective and new sidekick had a fabulous experience at my old new favorite Italian spot in Charleston!!! The food: started with the grouper braciole served up super hot in a La Cruset covered mini pot. Our expectations were exceeded Friday night. We sat down promptly at 5:30, and received wonderful service from (Emily I believe) through out our meal. The staff was always there to top off our beverages and prepare us for our next course. We felt attended to without having a sense of being hovered over. As for the food, it was a work of art. I won't share all the juicy details, but don't miss out on the Braised Octupus or Grouper! We will be back!!
