I just came out of the VA clinic and I wanted some phenomenal Thai food. I found this place online with 4.6 stars. I literally just tried to eat here, the place is empty, I have my service dog with me, and she said to sit outside because the place is small. It's not too cold outside, but it is chilly today and I don't want to be outside. Do better.
We ordered 4 dishes and only happy with tum yum koon soup. No bother with the mussels, I assumed they were fresh mussels since we are by the ocean, but no, they were big frozen new zealand green mussels, very fishy. Veggies used were either canned or wholesale precut stuff, didn’t taste good. Also they charge 3% fee if you use credit card, surprising for a biz frequented by travelers. It’s regrettable that many people give 5 stars like for uber ride, making food reviews less and less useful.
Thursday 30 April, 2026 Siam Marina is one of my all time favourite places to eat. I have loved Thai food most of my life and Siam Marina does a great job with the dishes I like as well as the overall taste. The owner's are a wonderful couple and they always are happy and kind. Prices are still very reasonable but I believe they will need to raise them because of the economy and rising food costs. This restaurant has a private parking lot and is easily accessible. Just a cozy little restaurant in Marina.
For me and my husband's anniversary we were craving Thai food and this place was very close to our hotel. We saw it had been in the newspaper and won awards and thought we would check it out. The place is small but the food packs a punch. The food was some of the best Thai we've ever had. We had our son with use and they treated him very nicely. The staff was very friendly. All in all will definitely come back when in Monterey area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
