Typically, we would not use a tour company as we are avid kayakers, and like to go off on our own. This was completely the best way to see Banana River Lagoon! Our guide, James, was personable and knew so much about the area and the animals and the plants. It was beautiful, relaxing, and we would highly recommend to all.
James, our guide, was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the information and nature of his guide. This was a Christmas present to our kids during out trip to Florida. I couldn't recommend more-the whole process was lovely from reservation to finish. The five star review speak to the awesomeness of this experience!
James was an amazing tour guide! You can tell he really enjoys what he does for a living. Never felt rushed on the tour. He took time to educate us and soak up the surroundings. Got to see manatees and a dolphin off in the distance. He made the adventure fun while guiding and getting to know our group of 14. Perfect day to kayak and see the sites and grow I. Our knowledge about the mangroves. Would do it again!
Cpt. Michael was a gem -- knowledgeable, kind and took his time with our group and found us a hot-spot to sit idle in our kayaks while a community of manatees circled-us, breaching. It was a magical way to kick of the New Year.
Edited: Now our third time bringing friends or family on the mangrove experience with Ian. He's fantastic and great with 5 year olds like our grandson. I also have to mention Genevieve in booking. We had a odd scenerio prohibit us from making the trip. We THOUGHT we had enough time for sightseeing on the way, we didnt. She went out of her way to occomodate us.
