I love their chocolates and the owner is wonderful! We lived in Brussels for three years and I think these chocolates rival the Belgian chocolates!
WOW! What a wonderful surprise on the downtown mall. The owner is welcoming, engaging, and generous. My favorites so far are the Mexican truffle ( creamy, a little funky, and then the heat sneaks in) and the Dark Chocolate covered Ginger. We will be back!
Cocoa & Spice is a unique chocolate shop, local to Charlottesville, VA. The owner and chocolatier is extremely talented and always willing to share her knowledge of chocolate. Recently, our 6 year old daughter held her birthday party at Cocoa & Spice, with five of her friends. Their truffles and hot chocolate are amazing!! The truffles are decadent! I had a selection of them and I will definitely be going back. The hot chocolate is rich. I just finished a mug of the Mexican hot chocolate and it was exactly what I needed; it had just a hint of heat that added to the cozy warmth of hot cocoa. Be sure to make it with milk, at least 2%, but even better with whole. Such a treat, I can’t recommend it enough.
