I have gotten my nails done at Coco Nails Glenelg for a couple of years now, and have not previously been disappointed. In fact, I highly recommended this salon to my friend, so we went and got our nails done here together yesterday. Sadly, I left extremely disappointed, with my nails being see through. Disappointing experience, nail tech ripped my nail off both my little toes to the point I had blood in my socks and pain for the days following.
Will not be going back, had air bubbles in the shellac, they charge extra for coffin shape but don’t tell you they do.
I recently visited your salon and enjoyed the massage chair but I was very concerned about the hygiene practices during my treatment. No disposable liners were used in the foot tubs. Apart from the scissors tools were not sterilised or single-use. Staff seemed to share equipment between clients without proper cleaning just passing it across At other salons I’ve attended both in Melbourne and Adelaide usually every item is sterilised in sealed plastic or used once only, yet the cost of service is the same. I had a fantastic experience tonight at CoCo Nails. The salon was busy and I had no booking. I rushed from work with my 10month old baby and didn’t come prepared with her pram. All the ladies were so accommodating and helpful with entertaining my daughter and making us feel so welcome. The young lady that did my nails was patient when I was holding my daughter on my lap and also happily changed the colour of my nails when I changed my mind. The place was clean and freshly renovated. I will definitely be going back!
