This is my second visit to this location I bought hamburger buns and a couple of scones . The lady at check out was not friendly at all. Once she rang through my items and I paid, I asked her if she had a bag for me. She then says " Yes its 40 cents. I politely said I did not have the 40 cents. She insisted I pay the 40 cents on debit. I shopped here 2 weeks ago and the nice lady at that time gave me a bag so I was not aware I had to pay for one. Went in there for some fresh buns. Made pulled pork sandwiches for dinner. Buns were perfect. Also left with a variety pack of scones.
It appears that the location on 130th Ave. SE Calgary is under new mismanagement! This location used to be the best, friendly, cheerful, and helpful staff, great products. Not anymore! The bread slicer seems to be missing a blade or it is broken. When I request regular slice there is always one thick slice towards the end. Get the slicer fixed! Available products are hit and miss. Love the bread bun scones danishes but really love the cinnamon bun. I love everything there but the fruit cake just ever since being a child
