I wish I would have found this site sooner looked on you tube the Derringer seemed OK I bought one. First time I bought a Firearm that comes out of the box and it does not work. I can not pull the trigger the gun is real hard to cock. I can cock it and hit the trigger with a hammer and it will go off. I was told to oil it by a Gunsmith but he would not touch it. First, I don not work in the firearm industry in any capacity and I live in Louisiana. I purchased a Cobra 9mm derringer several years ago and the second barrel does not, and has never, fired. This product supposedly had a lifetime warranty, but I have received no reply after repeated attempts to contact Cobra Firearms about this defective product. Look at the people leaving one of two star reviews very carefully. Most of them work for gun stores or manufacturers and have a vested interest in driving Cobra into the dirt. I have 4 of their guns. I would rate my Denali .380 and Patriot 45 tops in their price range. Most people are buying for hunting - but casual range shooting or protection. The latest Cobra pistols, the Denali .380 and Patriot .45 acp are top notch weapons for the price range.
