Pleasant quaint motel very clean
Went for a 25 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail and stayed here for the night. Lots of hikes apparently also do so as well. Perfect little motel to stay at when visiting this area. Clean, modern, friendly, quiet and a great rate for the night. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great experience!!

I booked this motel through Hotels.com based on a decently high rating and positive reviews. I was emailed at 8:30 the morning of my reservation (several hours before my 2pm check-in) because "some of their guests give fake credit cards." At 2pm, I was texted by an employee requesting a photo of my ID for self check-in. I asked to just show ID when we arrived, and was told that was fine and they'd be open until 10pm. I was traveling alone with my toddler, and when we arrived, we were let into the office/dirty storage closet ... read more
Unfortunately when we arrived the Ridge Motel was closed, the guy on the phone gave us the wrong information then what he told us over the phone... not highly appreciated... "No Vacancy, CLOSED,"!
