Absolutely adored my stay at Cobbold Gorge!! Camped in my swag in the unpowered camping area. So peaceful. Loved just walking around the property enjoying the birdlife and bush scenes. An iced coffee, meal out or dip in their beautiful infinity pool is a must. Enjoyed having a morning cuppa in the outdoor dining area overlooking the lagoon. Nice selection of short bushwalks to explore as well as paid tours. Highly recommend the stand-up paddle board tour through the gorge. Such an amazing idea! We did the walk and gauge tour. Amazing gauge and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend doing the tour.

Didn’t even get to see the gorge because…… we went to visit the Cobbold Gorge after going to einsleigh and copperfield gorge (which is fantastic). Campground is nice and there are a couple of cool walks however the pricing scheme is a joke. Minimum cost of $75 to see the gorge on top of the $20 per person compulsory stay charge is outrageous. The other option is a $125 boat tour. There is absolutely no way to see the gorge on your own accord. Highly recommended if you’re 70 years old and lazy. For young people travelling and... read more

Driving in, tires need to be deflated as corrugated the last 45 kms Van semi off road did well ! Drive to conditions Stop for groceries & fuel at Georgetown Fires are allowed but bring your own or gather just before entering the park The tour was amazing… hats off to Pete, who was knowledgeable, helpful, funny & a pleasure to have as a tour guide ! Been waiting for this experience since 2012 & it did not disappoint Was an amazing 3 hour tour
