Cedar Valley 4 Rent has some of the best management I've ever experienced, actually truly the best out of all. I have been a tenant under them for 4 plus years, and have rented from other various places previously for 18 years. I wouldn’t even give them half a star. First they’ll act very sweet the time you’re doing a first walk through. I’ve only rented from this management for a year and only one I time I call them to fix the sink and I was charged for that. I had spent a whole week cleaning the place before I moved out. And what do you know, they ripped me off my $525 deposit and gave me $82 back. I remember the day I did my walk through with one of them. Do not rent from Cedar Valley 4 Rent. We were tenants for almost 8 years and it was a huge mistake. They fix absolutely nothing; we reported a toilet coming off the floor, a gnat infestation, and a constantly leaking shower, but they simply ignored us or called the problems "normal." When we finally moved out, they didn't just keep our entire deposit for nearly a decade of normal wear and tear—they billed us for more. Cedar Valley 4 Rent made my first time renting a very easy and smooth process! I was looking for a home to rent in the area as I was attending UNI and had no clue where to look! I found these renters, and Deb showed me two houses that were within my budget, allowed pets, and were within a reasonable distance to my university as well as my job.
