If this is the Stephen Cobb associated with Southern Collection Systems or Southern Service Systems (they go by both names), then i agree with you Todd. I just spoke with an employee/agent on an outstanding medical bill (one that medicaid would have paid for if the collection dept at Radiology Consultants had called them and requested an extension, according to what medicaid told me), but obviously didnt. Steve Cobb took advantage of my husband and I during a very hard time. My husband used him for our divorce and fortunately we ended up reconciled. He took $1500 retainer, ended up not having to do much of anything because we didn’t go to court for even a temp hearing. Even though there was no retainer contract that any unused money would not be returned, Cobb being the greedy, unethical, heartless man that he is would not return the unused portion.
