Thank you Cobalt for giving this single mom an opportunity to start her life over! We are happy and thriving thanks to the kindness and professionalism that Cobalt has shown us. The entire application process was professional and from that point on they continued to stay on top of everything. From maintenance to any questions I had, Cobalt was always there. Their rules are fair to anyone who has the intention of being honest and diligent. Special thank you to Abbie, one of the kindest most helpful people I have ever met.
My roommates and I have been here almost two years. The rent is a great price. They respond to maintenance requests pretty quickly, but not always thoroughly. They said they cleared the gutters when they were clogged badly and they hadn’t. Our dryer was making noises so we put in a request. The repair guy broke it and we had to wait two weeks for a new one. Overall, I enjoy this property. I will add though… I haven’t moved out yet and that seems like what every negative instance is.
A very deceptive company to say the least, they have paid people to leave positive reviews because of all the backlash they face for the way they treat their tenants, this was personally the worst renting experience I’ve ever had and their whole staff is filled with unethical scum.
Could not recommend more! They were flexible with move in and move out dates, were excellent in all aspects of communication, maintenance always came super quick! Had absolutely no issues!! Check out process was super easy and return of deposit was fair, unlike a few other rental companies in Manhattan!
If I could give them negative stars, I would. This real estate management company is severely lacking in resources and professionalism. They have no dedicated maintenance team, and tenants are forced to hire overpriced vendors for move-out services—$620 for cleaning, $200 for paint touch-up, and $320 for carpet cleaning.
