After I called Emily was texting with updates on when Brandon would be at our house. Appreciate that very much! Most places just give you a time window. Brandon showed up got right to the point "okay tell me what's not working." It was a lift pump that I was concerned with - have me price options low to high. Then said okay lets get started. Coates was quick to arrive 15 minutes after calling and completed the work the same day. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem to our complete satisfaction. Shout out to Andy who was the plumber who did an outstanding job making sure we understood what the problem was and what was needed to repair it so we had water for the holiday weekend.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a complete scam. I originally called them to install a new bladder for my well, which they did without issue. About a year later, my water pressure started dropping, so I had a few different companies check it out. I was told the bladder that Coates Plumbing had installed was faulty. I called Coates to ask about a warranty, and they confirmed there was one. The dispatcher and technician that came out were very pleasant. However, the $50 service fee was a bitter pill considering the tech was in my house for less than ten minutes, and didn’t even touch the well pump to look at the problem. They claimed that Coates doesn’t service any well pumps less than 5”(?) so there’s nothing they can do for us. Even though their service stickers are on every piece of equipment. Coates plumbing is top notch, we needed to have our valve on the water main replaced and scheduled Coates to come out this morning. The water needed to be shut off by the city which Coates coordinated and it couldn't have gone smoother! Great company, professional and proficient.
