Dr coates has always been very caring and I really think he's an amazing doctor so far all staff have been very caring and kind to me as well with my anxiety issues I could t ask for a better team
This doctor stuck a camera down my throat when I was complaining about a lump in my throat, and only after that procedure did he tell me there's an actual procedure for looking at my throat...costing me more than $1000 for no reason.
Found out about this Doctor's terrible reputation after my Grandmother was admitted to Grand Rapids for massive bleeding post EGD. Wish we would have known about this guy and his long track record of "accidents" during procedures. Even the EMS team had a few choice words. STAY AWAY!!
The best Dr. that I have ever been treated by. Here it is 20+ years and he's still my Dr.. Dr.Alan G. Coates saved my life, I thank God for Dr. Mary Kennedy referring me to him.
