Beautiful calming atmosphere so so chill..love it
I was a consistent client at Coated, along with several friends. Unfortunately, the owner was extremely inconsistent and shady with pricing. We discovered that we were all being charged different amounts for the same services & prices were always changing. She even told some of us that prices were increasing while telling others they were not. I requested a receipt and still haven’t received one. Because of this lack of transparency, my friends and I have since relocated to another establishment.
Salon was advertised as OPEN both online & clearly in PERSON. Does everyone see the OPEN sign lit up in green? Oh ok . not even the courtesy to answer the phone either to clear up the misunderstanding. Business owners these days have no 0 understanding of how to actually run a business.
I was a customer until about two months ago. I always got my nails done by Margaret—she is very nice and kind. I was always pleased with the way she did my nails. The last time I was there, Margaret did my nails again, but two days later, they started to chip. This had happened a few times in the past, but I never complained. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The owner is extremely unprofessional and treats paying clients as if they’re asking for a favor. My nails didn’t even last five days before they started peeling off. When I arrived, she made faces like she was annoyed to even work on me and was very rough on my nails. This is not how customers should be treated. If you can’t treat people with basic respect, maybe you shouldn’t be running a business.
