I am a retired boat Captain who grew up in sight of the ocean on Tybee Is. For over 30 years, I have been a local naturalist to the uninhabited islands of our coast. I now live aboard a vintage St Augustine trawler, a custom built wooden motor yacht with the lines of a traditional shrimp boat.
