After receiving the results from an ultrasound/biopsy performed at another veterinary office, we were referred to this oncology team. They were able to get our sweet Munchkin in as quickly as possible, & from our very first visit, we knew he was in caring & knowledgeable hands. They took the time to explain everything to us in detail, answered every question we had, & made sure we understood his diagnosis (GI Lymphoma - high grade cell), treatment options, & the possible outcomes. Unfortunately, our dog was diagnosed with oral melanoma by our regular vet. Our regular vet recommended a second opinion and possible options for treatment from Southern Veterinary Oncology. Not only were the staff friendly and compassionate, Dr. Feldhaeusser was extremely knowledgeable citing her personal experience and references to current clinical studies. She laid out ALL options and was very thorough in her explanation of each. I would and WILL recommend this practice to everyone.
