I am pleased to amend my negative review posted 9/9/24 At first, we felt we were in good hands dealing with Coastal. We purchased a 42 ft. Class A, high end motor coach from them. I contacted this Dealership as we wanted to sell our 5th Wheel RV. And they advertise that they desire to buy used RV's like our. A sales rep, S___t contacted me and made arrangements for his Tech to come inspect our unit. It was set up at a Campground a short distance from them. We met their guy, ( a very nice man)who inspected our unit was very nice with nothing wrong with it other than a therater seating upholstery issue we previously told them about. I have been in a medical crisis and needed to move quickly into a camper. Stopped by Coastal RV for help. Scott assured me a used camper on the lot would be in “perfect working order” and promised to give me a “great deal” Said he “ will take complete care of you and your camper will be delivered having had a full inspection and anything fixed that needs it”. Contacted approximately 12/21 about repairs on my Rv and was told they would get to me in beginning of February. Contacted them beginning of February told it will a sometime in February for the repairs. Contacted my insurance company today to see if they heard from Coastal and was told about 5 more weeks. I’m used to a business at least communicating with with me about the delay which would be good customer care. I went go to protect Rv center who understands good customer service.
I am amazed with Coastal Rv Center. They treat everyone like family and remember the people and call them by name each time they come in. We bought our 32' Jayco Envoy from them and have used them for service. We needed some more work done and put in a request. for what was needed. A couple days later, Julian called to say he would get us in in a couple weeks, even though he was about 4 months out on service. But, since we bought from him, he would fit us in early. Bought my 2011 Sprinter at Coastal RV one year ago (Hello Julian, sorry to see you go, Matt). A couple of unfortunate and expensive mishaps found it in drydock for most of the past year. Note to self – do not go through any drive-through’s ever. Also, set the parking brake when you move around the vehicle. And put DEF in the DEF tank now and then. 😶 CRV did a great job installing new air conditioner, shroud, and awning after Chick Fil A misadventure.
