I had a referral from my GP. Took me 5 phone calls and an email to finally get through to someone who told me that they triage each patient which can take a minimum of 7 days. They also don't accept paper referrals, only electronic pdfs direct from the GP (I don't know a single GP who operates this way). On top of that, a minimum 7 weeks to 6 months waiting for an appointment. To have to do 5 calls each time plus back to the GP to get them to handle the digital referral... all seems rather archaic and less geared to the need... read more
