The radiology facility and the doctors in the Santa Maria location are good but beware about the bills! Please check the bills they send you and double check with your insurance, especially if your plan is associated with Physician Choice Medical Group. Coastal Radiation Oncology sent us inflated and incorrect bills that according to the billing department were absolutely correct and when we tried to show them that their counts were WAY higher than what we should have paid, they kept on telling us that WE were wrong. An extension of the Dignity health monopoly. Charges inpatient rates even though it is not within the hospital. Way way over priced. But...for ER Cancer surgery...well...no choice for follow up here. Be prepared for sticker shock... especially for a MRI, CAT, or a super pricey PET scan! Can exceed $10k & if you co-pay is 10%... well.....
