Incompetent...admitted he doesn't know how to do surgery and doesn't want second opinion
10/27/09 dr John saris neuro surgeon who worked side by side with dr hartwell saved my life. I had crushed my vertebrae c3-c5 leaving an abscess on my spinal cord and damage to my brain stem. Dr Sarris explained in full detail as to exactly what the surgery to be performed was step by step. His bedside manner kept me at ease throughout from the emergency room to the day I left community med center, as you could imagine I was very scared in the ER.surgery was a complete success. Dr.Hartwell is truly an angel! He’s such an amazing neurosurgeon! He’s very caring and compassionate doctor. He helped my husband tremendously as he battled sciatica with herniated discs and performed surgery on my husband. My husband is like a brand new man after his surgery! We can’t thank him enough for giving my husband’s life back!!!
There are not enough. Thank yous in this world for this man. My grandfather is 91 years old which is a risky ahe for any surgery but Dr. Hartwell explained to my grandfather and our family the risks and benefits of surgery for a compressed spinal cord and the benefits outweighed the risks tremendously. I'm happy to say to the underwent surgery and is doing great. But more importantly was the fact that he listened to my concerns and updated all of the family while grandpa was in the hospital, his kindness, and his humbleness.... read more
