Awful experience with medical care Not good medical care
The appointment was scheduled three months in advance, which I understand given that neurologists in the area are in high demand—especially after Core Physicians closed their neurology department. However, as I was walking into the appointment, I received a call from their patient coordinator informing me that they had not obtained a referral or insurance authorization. I was so hopeful after my first visit with costal neurology. Despite waiting for over 6 months for my initial evaluation, I left feeling good about the plan put in place by Dr. Phillipakis and myself for my migraines. The doctor assured me if there was any issues with my medications to use the portal, that she checks it every evening and it is the best way to talk directly with her as they could not fit me in for a follow up until 2025.
