My son had a great experience with Kali and Coastal KIDS. Kali was very thorough in her assessments, teaching, and follow up. She really took the time to explain not only how the exercises were performed, but also why they were necessary. My son always enjoyed his sessions and has made great progress towards meeting his goals. Overall we were very happy with the services and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Coastal KIDS Physical Therapy to anyone.
I am a physical therapist with almost 20 years of experience in the outpatient setting. I have limited experience with pediatrics. We met Chelsea when our son displayed developmental delays at 18 months. He is now 4 and we continue to work with Chelsea towards building strategies and schedules. Chelsea is the perfect fit for our family. She is warm, patient, experienced in her field and dedicated to what she does. I recommend Coastal KIDS for all of your family needs, be it speech, OT or PT.
When Kellie first met us, our 11 month old was not sitting (and in fact resisted being placed into that position). He had an umbilical hernia and weak core and was not particularly motivated to get moving. Kellie identified several exercises each week that we would work on and he made constant progress. In 2 weeks he was sitting unaided for over a minute and in 2 months, starting to crawl. I'd like to give a big shoutout to Kali for the amazing help she provided to our daughter. She was struggling with torticollis and some overall body tension, but Kali helped us through treatment options.
